The Unexpected

Good News! I can go to the bathroom now and I'm in my Private room.

From the bathroom I went back to bed..
I can feel again my stomach contracting-it was a painless contraction. Its hard as my forehead, But I ignored it.

Just one night and I can go home tomorrow..

It was night and the nurse arrived to bring me to the DR for just having a check on how I'm doing.A Monitor was hooked on me to see if my babies heart is normal(normal is 120-160 beats per minute) and to check if I have any contraction.

Well, bad news, I'll be staying in the DR again for close monitoring. My doctor said my contractions are getting stronger. Another thing is my fingers and toes are getting bigger

My doctor ordered a medication for me to decrease my contraction (I can't remember the drug's name).

The following day. Everything was so fast. My tummy is still contracting. My doctor told me to have an ultrasound so I was brought to the Ultrasound room via stretcher. The findings were that my placenta is already too mature and is not good enough for my baby. So my doctor was planning for a CS.

Since my baby would be premature we needed an incubator.

Bad News- all the incubators are occupied.

So, my doctor decided to transfer me to another hospital. But, before that my doctor did an IE on me. Its this examination where the doctor places her two finger in your vagina to see if your cervix is dilated. If it was, then in no time the baby would be coming out. It was uncomfortable and there was a slight pain. I was instructed to breath through my mouth.

At the hospital I transferred I was placed again in the DR room. But it was more comfortable there, although there more than 3 of you in the room there is a divider and the aircon is cooler than the other DR room.

I was given a sedative in order for me to rest.
My eyelids began feel heavy and I was able to sleep well.
